Our commitment to ensure all round development of children would be incomplete without suitable facilities for enhancing their physical fitness. HIMS provides a wide variety of activities, to add an extra dimension to its academic programme. The range of activities offered by the school ensures that opportunities are given to every student to take part in all the events. Opportunities are given in the form of activities like literary, cultural, games and sports.

Activities are carried out by the Activity & Programme Organizer along with the help of the teaching and non-teaching staff.

They are given a wide choice of games like basketball, football, table tennis, badminton, kho kho and chess.

To release bottled up energy and so as to enjoy a few minutes of fun, the school also has a miniature playground, equipped with seesaws, slides, monkey bars, twirly slide for our primary students.

The Standardized and Learners' Swimming Pool are an additional facility provided to the students during the summer period. Water is properly treated during summer season through filtration and chlorination.

In addition, the school stresses a lot of importance to co-curricular activities as they go a long way in bring to fore the latent talents of students. Inter-house activities such as one act play, debate, essay writing, dance, song, quiz, handwriting, drawing & painting competitions are organized.

Exhibitions on various scientific projects are also held.

Further, educational excursions to historical places in and round Kathmandu and a few trips to important historical places in Nepal are a feature of the school program.

The school also observes major functions such as Annual Cultural Programme on Parents' Day, Founders' Day, Teachers' Day, Children's Day, Annual School Picnic, Annual School Fete, Farewell and other school functions where the children stage a variety of entertainment programmes with socially relevant themes.
